How to ApplyEach school that we represent has unique application requirements. Our job is to take you comfortably through each step in the application process. Your application package will consist of the following: 1. Application instructions. 2. A detailed 2-page application document. 3. A parental permission form and/or a student conduct form. 4. The Learning Traveller Terms and Conditions.
STEP 2 Once you have received the application please fill it out completely, sign it and send it back to us with a photocopy of the main page of your passport and a deposit of $300 (US$ or CDN$) by mail to: The Learning Traveller Suite 406, 147 Wyndham Street North Guelph, Ontario N1H 4E9 Canada We recommend that you e-mail scanned a copy to info@learningtraveller.com or fax a copy of the two page application to 1 519 821 7490 before you send the hard-copy package by mail. Originals of all documents must be mailed to The Learning Traveller in order for the application to be considered complete.
STEP 3 Once we receive your application we will make your booking with the school and issue a formal confirmation by e-mail. Please do not make any travel arrangements until you have received a formal confirmation from us. Also, please note that unless otherwise stated our programs start on a Sunday and finish on a Saturday so your travel arrangments should reflect this. We cannot guarantee accommodation availability for arrivals before Sunday or departures after Saturday. Also, there may be extra transfer charges if you arrive or depart outside of these days. Please call us toll-free on 1 888 386 1411 if you are having trouble getting flights for the required days. Once you have your booking confirmed, be sure to provide us with your travel plans so we can inform the school. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary travel documents. Citizens of the US should check the following website to determing exactly what documents and visas (if any) are required for travel to the host country of your program: http://travel.state.gov/. Citizens of Canada should visit: http://www.voyage.gc.ca/consular_home-en.asp.
STEP 4 All of our programs include comprehensive medical and travel insurance for US and Canadian residents. If you are not a resident of the US or Canada please contact us for details. You do not need to pay any separate premiums as this is already included in the program fees. We will send you your policy by email.
